Giselle

-The ballet's music: The creator of this music was Adolphe- Charles Adam that created more ballet musics in different times like "Le Corsaire" or "The Danubi's daughter". He was really excited about writting this ballet so he finished the task in a short time. When the play was performed on the stage, the music was considered the best ballet music of all the different ballets. The variationts were softly and gently for the main character and all was created in a perfect harmony. It's really brilliant to hear this fantastic composition. In the composition there are some notes that express the hapinness of the first ballerina and the dramatic world of the Willis in the second act. They are linked with some compositions about the regards about the romantic feelings of Giselle. It's a perfect ballet composition.

-The most important ballet performers: There are lots of incredible performers that appeared in this wonderful ballet like: Fanny Cerrito as Gisselle, Lucien Petipa as the main boy character, Tamara Karsàvina with Vaslav Nijinsky and Anna Pàvlova. Carla Fracci is really recognized as the perfect ballerina to perform Giselle apart form Yvette Chauviré, Margot Fonteyn, Anna Razzi, Alicia Alonso, Elisabetta Terabust, Alessandra Ferri and the excelent and professional ballet dancer Svetlana Zakhàrova. There are more versions with Ana Laguna and Pompea Santoro. But the main boy character is important in this type of ballet because it can give the opportunity to show the cualities of a lot of ballet dancers like: Erin Bruhn, Paolo Bortoluzzi, Rudolf Nureiev, Mikhaïl Baríxnikov and Roberto Bolle.

-The technique: In this ballet there are some moments about happiness and also about dramatic feelings and the ballerinas have to express these moments with delicacy and intensity at once. Giselle is a complicated ballet in a lot of  technique concepts. Giselle, at the first acT, has to perform the pas ballonné and the pas ballotté with her lover, Albrecht, showing her hapinness time. All the other dancers are really happy about Giselle and they show it with some group variations while she executes some little rond de jambes on the tips, a difficult manège, that this is a serias of tours around all the stage. The arabesc is the most popular ballet step at the second act. At this acte the Willis appear and it is really exciting and beautiful because they dance in a perfect cordination while Giselle, died,  is dancing with Albrecht expressing all of their extreme love. The position of the arms of Willis show that they seem to breathe. These dancers have to be really professional.

-The ballet's dresses: At the first scene Giselle wears a blue peasant dress with a delicate blouse and a wreath. She dances in on the tips. At the second act all the dancers dressed white and dance in the forest. Giselle wears it, too. It's a long white tutu. The tutu is really light to follow the movements of the ballet dancers and it seems that the tutus fly with them. It's, for me, the most beautiful, incredible, brilliant and excellent ballet I ever have seen.
